Wiki:

Carry On was in production when Avenged Sevenfold found that Call of Duty: Black Ops II was in need of an ending song. Hence, rather than debuting Carry On on one of their tours, it was first released with them digitally playing Club Solar on the floating city of Collossus. As Call of Duty sales skyrocketed, so did the claim that their new hit was one of their best. Unfortunatly, Avenged Sevenfold's better publicized track, Hail to the King, overshadowed Carry On, and Carry On rapidly decreased in stardom. EASTER EGGS: The following Black Ops characters made appearances in the video: Alex Mason, David Mason, Harper, Salazar, Admiral Briggs, Noriega, President Bosworth, Viktor Reznov, Al'Kalid the Militia officer, Cuban Soldier, Cuban Stealth Soldier, Karma, DeFalco, Crosley. ON STAGE:Avenged Sevenfold was joined on stage by Frank Woods and Raul Menendez.

[Verse 1] Some people live out selfish desires Some choose to shout when they speak deafening us all Caught in the flame of those deep in fire Seeking out those with a voice, one for tomorrow [Bridge] (They say we've lost our minds We've just gained control) [Chorus] Search endlessly, fight 'til we're free Fly past the edge of the sea No bended knee, No more decree Somehow we still carry on [Bridge] (Fear, fear, fear, fear, fear, fear) [Verse 2] Silence your fear, we've got to move higher High like the stars in the sky, guiding us all Battle the will of those who conspire Take back the passion to live, vanish the sorrow [Bridge] (Destroy their perfect crime Watch the power fold) [Chorus] Search endlessly, fight 'til we're free Fly past the edge of the sea No bended knee, No more decree Somehow we still carry on [Guitar Solo] [Chorus] Search endlessly, fight 'til we're free Fly past the edge of the sea No bended knee, No more decree Somehow we still carry on [Outro] Carry on
