A track inspired by a handkerchief given to Damon by Alex when Damon was unwell. The handkerchief depicted the British Isles and had all of the Shipping Forecast locations marked on it. These locations form the basis for the locations mentioned in the song. During Damon's Q&A for audience before the Dr. Dee show on 4 may 2012 he declared "This is A Low" is probably his favorite Blur track.
