The song samples Sigur Rós song Takk... and features guest vocals from Rihanna. The Princess of China Songfacts reports that it marks the first time Coldplay teamed up with a guest vocalist for an official full-length album track. Taken from their fifth studio album “Mylo Xyloto”, “Princess Of China” featured the distinctive vocals of Rihanna and reached No.4 in the UK charts in June. They are currently on a world-wide tour, which is due to finish this November in Australia.
