The Lego House Songfacts states that the song finds Sheeran using a Lego house as a metaphor for a relationship. "I'm gonna pick up the pieces and build a Lego house, if things go wrong, we can knock it down," he sings. Ed Sheeran triumphed at this year's Brits scooping not one but two awards for 'Best Male Artist' and 'Best British Breakthrough Act'. 21 year old Ed made a huge impact on the UK singles charts in 2011 with debut single and No.3 hit 'The A Team', followed by 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' which peaked at No.4 – he then continued the charge with 'Lego House' which scored him a No.5 smash in November 2011.
