Wiki:

"The Wicker Man" is a song by Iron Maiden, released as the first single from their album Brave New World, released in April 2000. It was co-written by Adrian Smith, Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris. It was co-produced by Kevin Shirley and Harris. The title is inspired by the British cult film of the same name. The song should not be confused with Wicker Man from Dickinson's solo career, the lyrics of which are more closely themed around the film. The latter song can be found on the 2 disc edition of The Best of Bruce Dickinson. The radio version of the song differs from the album track, with the line "Your time will come" followed by the line, "Thy will be done" once, the second line is its regular "Your time will come", then the third line followed by another "Thy will be done". The last line is followed by "Don't turn, don't run." This is the case for every chorus except for the 3rd chorus where the 3rd line is "I'll be the one" and the 4th line is "Burn on the sun." This version is considered extremely rare as it has not aired since and is incredibly hard to find. Cover art was by Mark Wilkinson, after a piece by the famed artist Derek Riggs was rejected. This was the last piece Riggs would create for Iron Maiden, reasoning that they were too hard to work with. This art work was used for the picture vinyl disc and various minor pressings.

[Intro] [Verse 1] Hand of fate is moving and the finger points to you He knocks you to your feet and so what are you gonna do? Your tongue has frozen now you've got something to say The piper at the gates of dawn is calling you his way [Pre-Chorus] You watch the world exploding every single night Dancing in the sun, a newborn in the light Say goodbye to gravity and say goodbye to death Hello to eternity and live for every breath [Chorus] Your time will come Your time will come Your time will come Your time will come [Verse 2] The ferryman wants his money, you ain't gonna give it back He can push his own boat as you set off up the track Nothing you can contemplate will ever be the same Every second is a new spark, sets the universe aflame [Pre-Chorus] You watch the world exploding every single night Dancing in the sun, a newborn in the light Brothers and their fathers joining hands to make a chain The shadow of the wicker man is rising up again [Chorus] Your time will come Your time will come Your time will come Your time will come [Solo - Adrian Smith] [Solo - Dave Murray] [Chorus] Your time will come Your time will come Your time will come Your time will come [Outro] Woo-oohh ohh, Woo-oohh ohh Woo-oohh ohh, Woo-oohh ohh Woo-oohh ohh, Woo-oohh ohh Woo-oohh ohh, Woo-oohh ohh Woo-oohh ohh, Woo-oohh ohh Woo-oohh ohh, Woo-oohh ohh
