"Commander" is the first single by American R&B singer Kelly Rowland from her upcoming third studio album. Kelly Rowland debuted her new single “Commander” live at DJ David and wife Cathy Guetta’s “Fuck Me I’m Famous” party at Mansion in Miami during Winter Music Conference on Saturday March 27, 2010. The dance record was produced by Guetta and written by Rico Love. The song will appear on Kelly’s Universal Motown debut album. The full track leaked onto the internet on the 27th of April. “I was nervous and anxious,” she wrote about performing the song for the first time, “But when I hit the stage I felt the inner ‘Commander’ come to life!” ~ Kelly Rowland
