What is the Konami code?First appearing in Gradius for the NES, the Konami Code is a cheat code that appears in many Konami video games, and some other games. The cheat code is triggered through the following button sequence: ↑↑↓↓←→←→BA It was created by Kazuhisha Hashimoto while developing Gradius; since he found it too difficult, he decided to create a cheat code that would give players a full set of power-ups. However, developers found the mistake after the game's release, but since it’d be too difficult to remove without creating bugs, they left it.
