Secrets

"Secrets" is the second single released from OneRepublic's second studio album Waking Up. It was released as the first single in Germany and Austria instead of "All The Right Moves" that was released in all countries except for the two. Secrets was the first single there because it is the soundtrack for Til Schweiger's new film Zweiohrküken, that is the sequel to the film Keinohrhasen, for which "Apologize" was the film soundtrack. The song rocketed up the German and Austrian airplay charts and as of October 27th has hit #1 on the iTunes chart in Germany. The song was released in the United States iTunes Store on November 3rd, 2009. The song has had moderate success, staying at the top of the iTunes Rock chart since it was released. According to Songfacts, on "Secrets" Ryan Tedder is looking at the pressure of topping previous songwriting successes.
