Statesboro blues showcases Duane Allman's rip-roaring slide guitar in a way that turns one's soul inside out, upside down. If his licks don't get inside you and make you squeal and boogie, you're dead. One of the best ever recorded slide performances bar none. This track is a legacy for a whole generation of rhythm and blues bands circa 1970.
