Wiki:

"Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" is a song by British rock group The Police from their studio album Ghost in the Machine. It was also a hit single that reached the top of the charts in the United Kingdom in November 1981 and hit number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart that same year. Although released in 1981, Sting had written this song as early as 1976. A very early (1977) acoustic version of this song performed by him can be heard on the Strontium 90 album Strontium 90: Police Academy. Sting added this bit of "Every Little Thing..." lyrics to the end of "O My God" on the Police's 1983 release Synchronicity: "Do I have to tell the story Of a thousand rainy days Since we first met? It's a big enough umbrella But it's always me that ends up getting wet." These lyrics were later reused once more in Sting's "Seven Days" on his solo album Ten Summoner's Tales. The piano part was added by session keyboardist Jean Roussel who pestered the band to allow him to play on the track, against Andy Summers' original wishes. The song appears in the video game Karaoke Revolution Party, The Office episode entitled Phyllis' Wedding in Season 3 and in the 2005 film Bewitched. The song was referenced in the video game Warcraft II, where the cheat code "every little thing she does" instantly gives the player all magic-related upgrades.

[Verse 1] Though I've tried before to tell her Of the feelings I have for her in my heart Every time that I come near her I just lose my nerve as I've done from the start [Chorus] Every little thing she does is magic Everything she does just turns me on Even though my life before was tragic Now I know my love for her goes on [Verse 2] Do I have to tell the story Of a thousand rainy days since we first met It's a big enough umbrella But it's always me That ends up getting wet [Chorus] Every little thing she does is magic Everything she does just turns me on Even though my life before was tragic Now I know my love for her goes on [Bridge] I resolved to call her up A thousand times a day And ask her if she'll marry me In some old fashioned way But my silent fears have gripped me Long before I reach the phone Long before my tongue has tripped me Must I always be alone [Chorus] Every little thing she does is magic Everything she does just turns me on Even though my life before was tragic Now I know my love for her goes on Every little thing she does is magic Everything she does just turns me on Even though my life before was tragic Now I know my love for her goes on [Refrain] Every little thing, every little thing Every, every little thing Every little, every little, every little Every little thing she does Every little thing she does Every little thing she does Every little thing she does That she does is magic Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Eee oh oh, eee oh oh Every little thing Every little thing Every little thing She does is magic, magic, magic Magic, magic, magic Ey oh, yo oh Eee oh oh oh oh oh [Outro] Do I have to tell the story Of a thousand rainy days since we first met It's a big enough umbrella But it's always me That ends up getting wet
