The third single from How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, and second most successful after Vertigo. The song was used to open most shows on the Vertigo tour. It served as President Barack Obama's campaign song in 2008 and 2012, U2 performed Pride (In the Name of Love) and this song in honor of President Obama in Washington DC for the inauguration concert in January of 2008.
